What we never ask for
Your surname, your email, or an account. There's nothing to sign up for.
What we don't keep
The names you search aren't saved or tied to you. Name Pop uses no cookies.
What we count
Which parts of the site get visited (Popularity, Story, Hear it…) and roughly where visitors come from, using Vercel's cookie-free analytics. The name you searched is removed before anything is counted.
Where it all comes from
Name Pop runs on Vercel, which handles each page load the way any web host does. Everything else is built in: the name data, the fonts and the voices all come from Name Pop itself, so your browser never contacts another company while you look around.
Sharing a name
The name you're looking at lives in the page's link, so any link you send shows it. Handy for getting a partner's opinion; worth remembering before you post a secret shortlist.
